How to calm your mind- One of the best techniques I use.

Have you ever wondered how to focus your mind so intensely that you manifest whatever you want?

Or perhaps you want to simply focus your mind enough to stay calm and awake during your meditation practice?

I am here to help you with this very thing today.

Our life is a reflection of our thoughts.

What we do with our mind and our focus matter... a lot!

Like attracts like.

What is happening in your life right now?  Do you have a lot going on in your mind? As a result, do you find that you have a ton of clutter in your house this week? Or are you feeling pretty peaceful and kind people are greeting you in the store and your counters are glistening?

Clear mind, clear space. Clear space, clear mind.

Look around you and all that is happening in your life and see how it might just represent how you’re feeling in this moment.

This simple mental exploration can be one of life’s greatest challenges.

It is awesome to have something wonderful that you have been working towards and focusing on show up in your life and you can proudly exclaim,

“I manifested that!”

However, this statement is also true when struggle and hardship show up in our life too. Guess what?

“I manifested that too.”

Our daily success begins by shifting our opinion on what happens in our life. Everything that happens in our life blesses us in some way.

Life is happening for us, not to us.

Hardships can strengthen us and prepare us for what is coming next in our lives.

How do we attract a dream life that we want to bask in admiring every single day when we are surrounded by struggle, frustration and perhaps even despair?

We look deeper.

We look past the reflection of all that is happening in our life and begin to focus on the core of who we are and find what is constant, solid, and never changing.

One day I was walking down the sidewalk and there was a little puddle on the ground. The reflection that was cast from this puddle was breathtaking.

Underneath that beautiful puddle reflection was concrete. The canopy for that reflection rested on solid ground and what was surrounding that puddle was reflecting in it.

It was a mirror image of all that I could see outside of the puddle.

When you are struggling to find your peace, look inward and find your solid ground.

It is in the inner most part of you and it is what connects you to God, the Divine, the Universe.

It is in this quiet, solid place we can begin to find reason for the struggle, find purpose for our pain and perhaps, one day, find gratitude for the strength we’ve gained through it all.

It simply takes focus.

There is one amazing way to begin to find this type of focus.

Join me for this week’s meditation, Diamond Fist Mudra Meditation, that will teach you an incredible hand mudra that will assist you in controlling your thoughts and in creating a highly focused and comforted mind.

This is my ultimate go-to position for my meditation practice, when I am in the dentist chair and anytime I need to feel safe, secure and focused.

This hand mudra is my home base and my path that leads me to my inner solid ground. I hope it leads you to yours as well.

I look forward to seeing you in meditation.

Much love,
Erin
