What does your junk drawer really represent?

Have you noticed communications in your life to be misfiring or to be incredibly intense?

We are currently rounding out of our time in mercury retrograde (January 14- February 3rd).

This is the time period to revise how you communicate and relate to the people in your life and to yourself.

This is also the time to re-system and declutter your home.

This has been my personal mission these past few weeks. I have been clearing out and reorganizing every drawer, every closet, every area in our home and the result is amazing.

Our house feels so good.

Opening doors without having items fall on me is welcoming in a feeling of joy and dependency rather than experiencing surprise, panic and ultimately frustration at the item that has pummeled me or, more deeply, frustration with myself that my closet is in this state.

Do you have a closet or drawer that irritates you every time you open it?

If you were to add up the minutes of irritation and compare it to the number of minutes it would take to organize it, which side of that equation wins?

Take a moment today and clear out that one area and watch how much your life shifts.

Want more inspiration to clean out that closet?

Notice on the feng shui bagua map if this clutter area of your home correlates to the life area this part of your home represents.

My guess is that the same area that always gets cluttered in your home also gets cluttered in your life.

Our home can help us visually determine what we might not notice or want to acknowledge about our life.

Where are you stuck?

Your house is trying to tell you.

According to feng shui, luck arrives in three different ways into our life. The Aligned Life wrote an incredible article on this topic you can read HERE.

Heaven luck- this is all the luck you were born into and is preestablished for you. We can better understand this through horoscope and astrology readings.

Human luck- This is your state of mind and being what you want to attract. What you focus on is drawn to you. Learn to control your thoughts and bask in a grateful life and you will find great strength in this area.

Earth luck-This is living in synchronicity and joy within your home. This is your material manifestation power. As your home feels wonderful to live in, full of ease and beauty, your life will reflect the same. Eliminating clutter and setting up secure and joyful systems will bring in even more good luck into your life.

All three of these components help you to attract and manifest the life of your dreams.

And now is the time to make a change!

Chinese New Year, also called the Lunar New Year is this coming Tuesday, February 1st.

Take today and tomorrow to clear out that drawer that's been bugging you or pull a few clothes that you no longer wear out of your closet to make room for the new good luck to enter.

While you're in cleaning mode, be sure to wash your windows and dust.

"In China, the word 'dust' is a homophone for 'old'," according to Culture Trip's wonderful article on Rituals and Customs to Celebrate Chinese New Year.

Get your house nice and tidy but do not do any housework beginning at midnight Monday and bask in welcoming in the good luck on Tuesday. Enjoy your Tuesday!

Visit with your family, either in person on zoom or through prayer and meditation if they are deceased.

It has been over 20 years since my dad passed away and it will be 14 years this April since my mom passed away. There are so many times that I call on them for support and guidance. Recently though, I've been called to ask for generational support, remembering that our entire family lineage is available to us to offer wisdom, strength, guidance and support.

Join me for today's mediation, A meditation to receive ancestral wisdom and good luck and bask in the love, wisdom and strength of the many generations that love you and that have come before you.

Happy New Year!

What are you clearing out today to prepare for Tuesday? Where is your home feeling stagnant?

Make the change today.

I hope you have a wonderful New Year and bring in the life of your dreams this year!

Much love,
Erin
