How do your little choices and intentions create the life of your dreams?

I bought a bouquet of roses at the grocery store yesterday. The woman who tends to the floral section is such a joy and she is always humming, clipping and arranging.

It is clear she loves her job.

We got to talking this week and she said that she plays soft, happy music for the flowers and that they seem to be thriving as a result. She also said she noticed that her flowers hated heavy metal music and that she would not let any of the after-hours employees who restock the shelves play that kind of music around them.

I told her about Dr. Emoto's water experiment, and she was all in! She had essentially already been following his principles. I told her I would check in with her next week to see how her flowers were doing after her new uplevel in care. Although it was quite clear these flowers were lucky enough to have her heart already.

This conversation has stuck in my mind.

This lovely woman would be paid the same regardless of how she treats these flowers. It is her choice to take extra care of them and it makes all the difference.
She doesn't do it because she is told to do it or to get attention. She is called to make these flowers happy.

It not only makes the flowers happy, it is clear it makes her happy too.

It is a win-win.

The thing is, choices that help others (human, plant, animal or otherwise) often result in a win-win experience that leads to a win-win life.

It is our daily choices, to choose to say kind words to ourselves and to others that makes the difference in our life, regardless of whether or not someone is watching.

It is the small defining choices that matter- to choose to find gratitude for a situation rather than the annoyance.

To choose to help rather than walk by.

To choose to uplift rather than judge.

Our life isn't built in a day. It is the culmination of a thousand little choices that pushes us over the tipping point of success, joy and happiness.

A perspective of gratitude turns a mundane life into an abundant and joyful one.

Join me for this week's gratitude meditation, Little choices and intentions-a gratitude meditation, as we give gratitude for all the small choices we make every day that ultimately create the life of our dreams and set intentions in the areas where we'd like to improve. When we feel like we have nothing to be grateful for, we can turn to meditations like the one today and realize how much abundance is flowing into our lives.

What can you be grateful for today? What small choice could you alter in your day that might bring you more joy for you and also bless another?

How can you create a win-win life?

I can't wait to hear all about it! If you'd like to share with our growing community, I'd love to hear from you on Facebook or Instagram.

Much love,
Erin
